Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Consolidated Auctioneers website. Each auction is additionally governed by its own rules of auction and conditions of sale, which are made available before the sale and take precedence for that auction.

Website content

Auction listings, catalogues, images and descriptions are published in good faith and may change. Lots may be added, withdrawn or amended before an auction. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer or a warranty.

Bidding and registration

Bidders must register before an auction and may be required to provide identification and a refundable deposit. Registration is at our discretion. Bids are binding once accepted by the auctioneer.

Condition of assets

All assets are sold voetstoots (as-is, where-is) unless expressly stated otherwise. Buyers are responsible for inspecting assets during the advertised viewing period and for satisfying themselves as to condition and suitability.

Payment and removal

Payment terms, commission, VAT and removal deadlines are set out in the conditions of sale for each auction. Assets remain the property of the seller until payment has been received in full.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or participation in an auction.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
