Common questions
- What does it cost to sell on auction?
- Commission depends on the asset type, volume and the marketing required. We confirm the full fee structure in writing before you commit to anything.
- Can I set a reserve price?
- Yes. Most sales run with a reserve agreed between us beforehand. We will advise on a realistic level based on the market and comparable results.
- How long does the process take?
- A typical campaign runs three to six weeks from instruction to auction day, depending on marketing lead time and the nature of the assets.
- Do you handle deceased estates and insolvencies?
- Yes. We work with executors, attorneys, liquidators and financial institutions and understand the documentation those sales require.
- Where do the auctions take place?
- On-site at the assets, at a venue in Louis Trichardt, or online — whichever suits the sale best. Hybrid auctions are common.
